As a Construction Director at Syre you will have a major impact on all the construction phases and also be building the team that's gonna make it happen.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Senior international profile with strong background in planning, executing, and completing capital projects globally.
• Responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of Syre’s construction plant projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Proven experience in construction management, capital expenditure planning, and project management, including track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent negotiation skills, including knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Impact-oriented with a strong drive to get things done, deliver results, and optimize for speed globally (= start-up experience and mentality).
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High ambitions with a constant drive for excellence, daring to challenge the status quo.
• Purpose-driven mentality, with a clear mission and passion for driving environmental change.

We would prefer if you

• Have experience of large complex green/brownfield construction projects built from scratch.
• Are fluent in English both orally and in writing (professional English required).

You will be reporting to COO and preferably be located in Stockholm, Sweden or open for relocation/travelling.
