Textile Engineer Intern
About us
At Renasens, we’re a small team building something ambitious: a textile recycling technology that will change the world.
We have developed a waterless process using minimal energy and chemicals with a neutral impact on fiber quality. This allows us to recycle the most challenging textile waste: blended post-consumer polycotton in any colour, with any additives, composition, or quality, utilizing what is currently the most common yet unwanted fraction of textile waste.
We are now building a first-of-its kind facility in Borås, Sweden and looking for brilliant people to join our journey.
Responsibilities
Assist in the research and development of our process.
Conduct experiments and analyze data related to material properties and recycling efficiency.
Support our engineering team with textile characterization and prepare technical reports and presentations on project findings.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.
Learn and apply industry best practices in textile engineering and sustainability.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
Possesses a strong interest in sustainable textiles and innovative materials.
Has hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and textile testing methods.
