We are seeking a skilled Process Technician with expertise in welding and/or electrical work, particularly for ATEX-rated environments. Your technical skills will support our production processes as we work towards reducing industrial environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair production equipment with a focus on minimizing downtime in our advanced, eco-friendly facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues in real-time, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and sustainability.
- Perform inspections and maintenance on ATEX-rated equipment in potentially explosive environments, ensuring compliance with the latest safety standards.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Welder (certified in Sweden, compliant with EN ISO 9606-1 or SS-EN 287-1), with experience welding pressure vessels or similar critical components.
- Licensed Electrician (certified in Sweden), with experience working with ATEX equipment in explosive atmospheres, compliant with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and Swedish SS-EN 60079 standards.
- CompEx or IECEx Certification for installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous environments.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in both general industrial environments and hazardous areas.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail in all technical tasks.

About Green14
GREEN14 (Green 14 AB) was founded in 2021, aiming to build a large-scale green silicon production facility in the Nordics. GREEN14 will produce 50 thousand tons of green solar grade silicon by 2030. By doing this, the company will contribute to the decarbonizing of the European silicon industry and secure European demand for this critical raw material. The founders and largest shareholders are Adam Podgorski and Jan Dinkelspiel.
