About the Role:
The Senior Director, Finance is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions for Glass Lewis. The successful candidate has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, policies and processes. It is a key management position playing an important strategic role within the organization. The individual will be responsible for the accounting, internal and external reporting, as well as US GAAP and IFRS compliance for the company.
Reporting Structure: Reports to CFO, who is located in Kansas City, Missouri USA.
This role is permanent and hybrid, based out in our Timisoara office, with regular in-person attendance three days a week.

The individual will be responsible for the accounting, internal and external reporting, as well as US GAAP and IFRS compliance for the company.

This role is permanent and hybrid, based out in our Timisoara office, with regular in-person attendance three days a week.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role;
- Experience with SaaS or subscription-based revenue models;
- Master’s degree and/or accounting certification (internationally recognized accountancy qualification such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar);
- In-depth knowledge of global tax and accounting practices, as well as US GAAP and IFRS knowledge;
- Extensive experience with financial software and tools, including ERP systems and financial reporting platforms;
- Proven track record of managing financial operations in a complex multinational organization;
- Experience as an administrator in a Romanian organization;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- High level of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and strong ability to interact with senior management;
- Fluent in English;
- Flexibility and adaptability;
- Experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion);
- Lead accounting, billing and financial reporting team to support global company;
- Oversee and support global accounting team with dynamic leadership that fosters an environment of employee growth and development;
- Ensure monthly and annual financial close are completed timely and accurately with all supporting reconciliations and in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS;
- Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidated reporting across multiple subsidiaries, both for audit and tax purposes in compliance with transfer pricing regulations
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure audit reports and tax returns are filed timely;
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations to support audit procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, to support business initiatives, provide financial insights, and drive cross-functional projects;
- Support merger and acquisition activities in the regions including financial integration, and post-acquisition financial reporting.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial matters, providing guidance and recommendations to support strategic objectives.
- Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to required standards;
- Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives and workflows, including ERP;
- Manage any implementation processes for system conversions and new system implementations;
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
