The Role
Glass Lewis is seeking a Vice President of Client Services to lead our EMEA client service organization. This senior leadership role is responsible for building and scaling a high-performing relationship management team that delivers exceptional day-to-day client support, strengthens client retention, and partners closely with Sales to support business growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the client experience for institutional investors, ensuring they can effectively execute and manage their proxy voting programs using Glass Lewis solutions. This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, deep product knowledge, and a client-first mindset.

This role is permanent and hybrid, based out of our Amsterdam office, with regular in-person attendance three days a week. Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in client services, relationship management, or account management within financial services, asset management, or governance/proxy services.
  • Proven experience leading and developing client-facing teams in a regional or global environment.
  • Strong understanding of institutional investor workflows and proxy voting processes preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Sales to support business development and growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as a senior sponsor for key institutional client relationships across EMEA.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with asset managers, asset owners, and stewardship teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance on proxy voting execution, governance trends, and service optimization.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex client issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and develop a regional relationship management team supporting clients across EMEA.
  • Foster a high-performance, client-focused culture with strong accountability and collaboration.
  • Establish training and development programs to enhance product expertiseand client engagement capabilities.

Product & Solutions Expertise
  • Develop deep expertise in Glass Lewis’ proxy voting solutions, governance research, and service offerings.
  • Ensure the team can effectively support clients in implementing and managing their voting programs.
  • Partner with Product, Client Policy, and Research teams to deliver client-driven enhancements and solutions.
  • Support clients in navigating regulatory and market-specific requirements across EMEA.

Partnership with Sales
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to support new business opportunities and expansion within existing accounts.
  • Participate in client presentations, RFPs, and strategic discussions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client value through additional products and services.

Service Delivery & Operations
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, consistent client support across all EMEA markets.
  • Establish scalable processes and service standards to support growth and operational efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally with global teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
