About the Role
We are seeking a high-impact People Team Manager with strong expertise in Compensation, Benefits, and HR Compliance across APAC. This role is ideal for someone currently operating at a Team Lead / Senior Team Lead level, ready to step into a regional management role with broader ownership across compensation strategy, benefits governance, and multi-country compliance.
You will support and drive People operations across Philippines, Japan, Australia, and EOR populations, with a strong focus on compensation frameworks, benefits strategy, labor law compliance, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications- 5–8+ years in HR Operations / Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards
- Strong experience supporting APAC markets (PH, JP, AU preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of APAC labor laws, compliance, and statutory benefits
- Experience in compensation analysis, benchmarking and benefits management
- Strong Excel skills (PowerBI is a plus)
- Experience with HRIS and EOR vendors is an advantage
Compensation & Benefits (Core)
- Lead compensation analysis across APAC (PH, JP, AU)
- Support merit cycles, promotions, and salary recommendations
- Maintain salary bands and pay structures
- Provide insights for hiring, retention, and workforce planning
Benefits Management
- Own Philippines benefits (HMO, insurance, retirement)
- Manage vendors, renewals, and cost reviews
- Provide advisory on benefits across APAC
HR Compliance & Labor Law (APAC)
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements
- Oversee compensation and benefits compliance
- Partner with Legal, Payroll, and EOR vendors
- Identify and mitigate compliance risks
People Operations (APAC)
- Support employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, changes)
- Advise stakeholders on policies and regional practices
Data & Reporting
- Analyze labor costs, headcount, and compensation data
- Build reports and dashboards (Excel / Power BI)
Process Improvement
- Drive standardization and improvements across APAC
- Support HR policy and framework development
