We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position offers an opportunity for end-to-end responsibility for 2-3 international entities on a fixed term basis (12 months). This hybrid position is based in our Limerick city office with a requirement of 3 days on site

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position offers an opportunity for end-to-end responsibility for 2-3 international entities on a fixed term basis (12 months). This hybrid position is based in our Limerick city office with a requirement of 3 days on site
- Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience, specifically in the month-end close process for international entities with adherence to deadlines
- Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables modules
- Qualified or Part-qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Working knowledge of ERP systems. Oracle Fusion experience a distinct advantage
- Proficient MS Excel skills
- Highly motivated with an ability to take ownership, work independently and show initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- A team player who is willing to support various Finance functions as required
- Process day-to-day financial transactions (Banking, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable)
- Prepare monthly management accounts including Balance Sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency
- Liaise with local service providers for the preparation and reconciliation of periodic local tax filings and financial statement submissions
- Ensure compliance with local tax requirements such as VAT
- Fulfil year-end audit requests
- Fulfil ad-hoc requests to support Finance reporting operations
