Position Description

The Business Applications Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategy, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s business-critical software applications. With a specific focus on managing Microsoft SharePoint, the successful candidate will ensure that sites, permissions, content structures, and integrations are optimized, secure, and aligned with business needs. They will also be responsible for all software applications within Glass Lewis to ensure business operations are supported, to align technology solutions with organizational goals, and deliver continuous improvements in all business tooling.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field.

• 5+ years managing or supporting business applications.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, APIs, integrations, and data management.

• Experience with vendor management and system governance.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Familiarity with ITIL, SaaS platforms, and cloud-based applications.

• Experience in mid-size or enterprise application environments.

• Microsoft 365 Certifications

Responsibilities

• Administer SharePoint environments, including site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, and content structures whilst performing platform-level administrative tasks.
• Oversee configuration, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint sites and intranet components.
• Lead the management, configuration, support, and lifecycle planning for all business applications including Jira, Assana, Miro, Figma, 3CX, Ronspot and Microsoft 365 applications
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into application enhancements.
• Manage system upgrades, integrations, and vendor relationships.
• Develop and implement application roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Define KPIs, SLAs, and success metrics for application performance.
• Coordinate testing, change management, and user training.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues in collaboration with IT and vendors.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, workflows, and procedures.
