Together with a passionate and highly skilled team, you will help build and operate a facility that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

If you are ready to roll up your sleeves, take ownership, and contribute to something bigger — we would love to hear from you.

Cellcolabs is a biotech impact startup focused on improving global healthcare by enabling scalable production of high-quality mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) for advanced therapies.

About the Role

We are now looking for a Maintenance & Service Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance, technical support, and continuous improvement across both production and quality control. You will work hands-on in a GMP-regulated environment and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our facility runs smoothly and remains inspection-ready.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Owning the full maintenance lifecycle of the facility, including planning, scheduling, and execution of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities

  • Equipment ownership, ensuring all systems and equipment are maintained, calibrated, and performing according to specifications

  • Planning and executing service activities across the entire facility, including cleanrooms and supporting systems

  • Vendor management and negotiations, including selection, coordination, and follow-up of service providers and equipment suppliers

  • Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues, both independently and together with external partners

  • Performing and overseeing calibration and servicing of production equipment

  • Managing and maintaining the Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) and Facility Monitoring System (FMS)

  • Authoring and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation within your area of responsibility

  • Leading and managing deviations, CAPA, and change control (CC) related to facility and equipment

  • Conducting and supporting equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)

  • Manage cleanroom re-qualification activities.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within maintenance and technical operations

  • Manage procurement of equipment

  • Systematic fire safety management

  • Responsible for access control systems and their operation

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term and take ownership of this critical area. You have:

  • A technical degree (vocational, bachelor’s, or equivalent)

  • At least 5 years of experience within the biopharmaceutical or process industry

  • Strong hands-on experience working in cleanroom environments and according to GMP (highly important)

  • Good knowledge of cleanroom and equipment regulations, including ISO 14644, EU GMP, and ATMP manufacturing

  • Broad technical knowledge, including IT systems

  • Experience in equipment maintenance, qualification, and documentation

  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English

Who You Are

You are a proactive, service-minded, and solution-oriented person with a strong sense of ownership. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift, and you are comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

You are both a team player and capable of working independently, taking initiative and driving tasks forward with structure and quality in mind.

Just as importantly, you share our values. At Cellcolabs, we believe that Nothing is Impossible, we are driven by Growth and Passion, we Win as One, and we act with Joy and Integrity in everything we do.

What We Offer

  • Growth: Work in an innovative, collaborative environment and develop alongside some of the brightest minds in the field

  • Culture: Be part of a value-driven company where we truly live our values every day

  • Impact: Contribute to transforming healthcare through advanced cell therapies

  • Benefits: Comprehensive insurance package including specialist healthcare and wellness allowance
