THE ROLE
Are you ready to make a real impact? Are you excited by the opportunity to grow your strategic skills while unlocking climate action for enterprise organizations?

Then join CEEZER and help companies across the globe to leverage a truly impactful solution that is finally fixing how companies get to net-zero using the voluntary carbon market and data-led insights. Use your skills to tackle one of the most critical challenges humanity has ever faced: climate change.

We are looking for a highly motivated Carbon Policy and Partnerships Manager (f/d/m), who loves to keep track of a fast-changing carbon market and policy environment and translate strategic insights into actionable partnerships initiatives.
YOUR MISSION
In this cross-functional role, you'll use your strong understanding of the global climate policy landscape to manage strategic partnerships, advocate for CEEZER, and effectively use policy insights to inform business decisions across CEEZER.
  • Analyze policy trends and interpret key legislative and regulatory developments across carbon markets to generate insights and adapt our business.
  • Ensure that insights and feedback from external stakeholders inform internal cross-functional initiatives, contributing to product and policy development.
  • Build and cultivate strong external relationships, reaching out to potential partners, and managing our current strategic partnerships.
  • Be the key liaison to third-party organizations, including trade associations, advocacy groups, and nonprofits, to drive strategic partnership engagement.
  • Strengthen CEEZER’s brand and profile with policymakers, global initiatives, and thought-leading organisations in the climate ecosystem.
  • Educate key external stakeholders about CEEZER, its work, mission, and the environmental, economic, and social impact it creates, and to leverage its buy and supply-side reach to play a central role in global policy efforts.
  • Develop and produce informational materials for public policy, coalition stakeholders, and strategic suppliers.
  • Represent CEEZER in industry working groups, coalitions, and associations, as well as at key forums, conferences, and relevant events.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Over two years of experience in climate policy, carbon markets, and global carbon initiatives and frameworks.
  • Experience working with or for climate companies, nonprofits, government, or political/advocacy organizations, ideally with a focus on carbon markets.
  • Background in advocacy strategy or coalition-building in complex policy environments.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with a proven ability to see the big picture, set goals, and deliver results.
  • Sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter who can independently identify priorities and follow through without constant direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to build and maintain relationships in English and German.
  • A working permit in Germany.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU AT CEEZER
  • A mission that matters: Join a rapidly growing, dynamic team of international changemakers who are passionate about solving the world’s most pressing challenge and helping shape a sustainable, net-zero future.
  • A learning culture: Take your skills to the next level with exciting growth opportunities, hands-on learning experiences, and access to resources designed to fuel your professional journey in a start-up that prioritizes learning and growth.
