AirForestry is looking for an Embedded Systems Developer to join our dynamic team in Uppsala.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for the development and implementation of real-time software for our drone system.
- The role goes beyond just programming. In a startup setting, you will have the opportunity to take on the full responsibility of the software lifecycle from designing, coding, testing, and debugging, to the deployment of embedded systems on our drone.
- You should thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Your tasks might vary from day to day, ranging from writing code, testing software on the hardware, and deploying the final product in a field setting!
Experience:
- At least 2 years, but we are also interested in 5+ years, of practical work experience in embedded software development.
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of real-time systems, knowledge of Linux, and programming in C/C++.
Meritorious:
- Prior experience with STM32 microcontrollers and their development environments
- Familiarity with Python and QML
- Experience of agile development and CI/CD
- Familiarity with Altium Designer or similar ECAD tools is a plus
- A keen interest and understanding of drones, their systems, and the challenges of programming for these platforms
Languages:
- Meritorious - Fluent in Swedish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Required - Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
