We’re looking for a hands-on Team Lead to drive high-impact algorithmic projects with a focus on impacting patient lives through a combination of algorithmic and engineering work .

You’ll lead initiatives end-to-end-from problem framing and data strategy to modeling, evaluation, and delivery-tuning complex challenges into effective, production-ready solutions. The work spans both structured and unstructured data, across diverse modalities and use cases such as NLP, tabular modeling, and emerging agentic systems.

• Drive algorithmic and impactful engineering projects from concept to delivery-framing the problem, defining data needs, setting goals, and driving execution across the full lifecycle.
• Stay hands-on in algorithm development and technical problem-solving, providing direction through examples and active involvement where impact matters most
• Guide and support people’s growth, fostering a culture of curiosity, clarity, and accountability where engineers feel empowered and supported professionally and personally.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Clinical, and Dev teams to align priorities, translate requirements into actionable plans, and ensure smooth integration into production
• Ensure quality and robustness through disciplined evaluation, documentation, and reproducibility-balancing speed with reliability
• Shape direction and execution, connecting project goals with broader business and clinical objectives
• Stay curious and forward-looking, exploring emerging ML and AI methods and adopting those that bring measurable improvement to how we build and deliver algorithms.

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience applying AI/ML methods to real-world problems, across structured and unstructured data.
• 2–3+ years leading teams, providing technical direction, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust, efficient algorithms with a strong software-engineering mindset
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, or similar), with solid understanding of software best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of framing open-ended problems and guiding others to clear, data-driven solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to convey complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical partners
• Experience with NLP, structured-data modeling, or other applied ML domains, demonstrating versatility in algorithmic thinking.
• Stay current with advances in ML and related technologies, continuously improving methods and applying relevant techniques to real-world challenges.
• Experience working with healthcare, clinical, or regulated data environments - a plus
