CONTEXT 

Within AGL's IT Department, attached to the Freight Forwarding & Transit department, we are recruiting for a permanent contract a Product Owner - RUN to join the team Connect Logistics. 

Put into production in March 2025, Connect Logistics is an orchestrator bus that collects, cleans, and consolidates data from our operational systems (TMS), before delivering it on a web portal dedicated to our clients. 

In a transformation context, the project enters a new phase: 

• Expand its scope functionally, 

• Become a central component of the Transit & ecosystem Freight Forwarding, orchestrating data exchanges between logistics applications and ensuring the reliability of shared information.

Under the responsibility of the project manager Connect Logistics, you will be responsible for the management and evolution of the product in the operational phase. You will monitor the stability, the performance and the user satisfaction ensuring that incidents, change requests and improvements coming from RUN perimeter are properly prioritized and integrated into the product roadmap. 

MAIN MISSIONS 

As a Product Owner - RUN, you will work on the entire processing chain, from the reception of operational data to their delivery to clients. 

Your missions: 

Run management 

• Oversee the proper operation of the solution and ensure the continuity of service 

• Analyze and prioritize incidents, issues and requests from support (N2/N3) 

• Translate operational needs into user stories for the dev teams 

• Alignment with the PO Build in order to produce a common roadmap Build+Run realistic

Management of backlog run 

• Maintain a backlog clear and prioritized dedicated to run (fixes, minor evolutions, technical debt) 

• Gather evolution requests coming from Live 

• Track change requests

Coordination and communication 

• Act as a point of contact between support, users, and developers 

• Communicate progress, impacts, and prioritization of run topics to the project team  

• Redirect out-of-scope incidents to the appropriate solutions/support groups 

• Participate in operational follow-up committees and in RUN instances

Analysis and continuous improvement 

• Identify the root causes of recurring incidents and propose sustainable solutions 

• Monitor and analyze KPIs (incident volume, recurrence rate, user satisfaction) 

• Feed the documentation and lead handover meetings to support teams

Monitoring management 

• Tracking of the service quality and availability 

• Feedback of the need to strengthen the monitoring 

• Ensure the progress of the project and the optimization of RUN indicators

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT 

• Azure Cloud (hosting and managed services) 

• Databases Azure SQL 

• Inter-service communication via Azure Service Bus 

• US drafting tool: DevOps

PROFILE 

Training & experience 

• Master's degree in computer science (engineering school, university, or equivalent). 

• Proven experience in Product Ownership or in application management (Run/Build), ideally in environments integrating a bus exchange or middleware solutions.

Technical skills 

• Experience in level 3 support: ability to analyze complex incidents and coordinate their resolution with technical teams. 

• Experience in functional specification (writing user stories, test scenarios, tracking of changes). 

• Experience in ITIL/ITSM environments: incident, problem, and change management. 

• Good understanding of integration architectures (bus, API, EDI, orchestrators). 

• Ability to read and understand technical logs to quickly identify probable causes of incidents. 

• Knowledge of Azure tools (Azure Service Bus, API Management, etc.) and proficiency in Azure DevOps 

• Good basics in data exchange formats: JSON, XML, data mapping, etc. 

• Knowledge of documentation and collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, MS Project, etc.). 

• Ability to act as an interface between business units and the technical side: simplify technical problems for the business units and translate business needs into clear specifications for developers. 

• Practical Agile / Scrum. 

• English (and French highly appreciated).
