JOB FUNCTION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Digital Transformation Project Leader is responsible for leading digital transformation initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on supporting the Group's business units by providing them with digital solutions to improve the overall performance of the business. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong affinity for and understanding of business challenges, coupled with the ability to anticipate needs and strategically envision effective solutions.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced senior project leader who has a proven track record of managing complex projects on an international scale. The successful candidate will excel at driving project deliverables, conducting interviews with business stakeholders, and preparing comprehensive reports for management. This role involves supporting internal clients throughout every phase of the project lifecycle, starting from the initial needs assessment and continuing through to solution deployment. Key responsibilities include project scoping, overseeing the development and testing processes—such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT)—and managing the rollout of the solution into production.

Project Delivery & Execution 

·        Own end-to-end delivery of complex or high-impact projects 

·        Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables 

·        Build and maintain detailed project plans (schedule, budget, resources) 

·        Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget 

·        Manage dependencies across multiple projects or programs 

Governance, Risk & Compliance 

·        Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues 

·        Ensure compliance with internal standards, security, and regulatory requirements 

·        Manage change control processes and scope evolution 

·        Make go/no-go recommendations at key project milestones 

Team Leadership 

·        Lead cross-functional and international dev teams 

·        Foster accountability, collaboration, and performance culture 

·        Resolve escalations and unblock teams 

·        Promote best practices in project management (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) 

Methodology & Continuous Improvement 

·        Select and tailor delivery methodologies (Agile, SAFe, Prince2, PMI, etc.) 

·        Improve project management standards, tools, and templates 

·        Contribute to PMO maturity and organizational capability 

·        Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement 

Strategic Contribution 

·        Support portfolio planning and prioritization 

·        Identify synergies across initiatives 

·        Anticipate future risks, capacity constraints, and change impacts 

·        Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on delivery feasibility 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·        Master’s degree (Engineering, Business, or equivalent) 

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in project management 

·        Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional projects 

·        Experience in international or multi-cultural environments 

·        Strong exposure to executive-level stakeholders 

·        Knowledge of transport and logistics is considered an advantage 

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

·        Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile / Scrum / SAFe - Waterfall / V-model - Hybrid approaches) 

·        Project planning, risk management, dependency management 

·        Project governance and executive reporting 

·        Solid understanding of IT / digital environments (without needing to be a technical expert) 

·        Expertise in UX/UI, user experience, and low-code technologies are considered an advantage
