As Sustainability Intern at Norvestor, you join a small, expert team at the centre of how a leading Nordic private equity firm and its portfolio companies meet rising expectations on sustainability transparency and regulation. You will learn how ESG data is collected, validated and used in real investment and ownership decisions, while contributing hands-on to reporting processes that matter. You will work closely with Norvestor's Sustainability Associate, Head of Sustainability and a newly appointed Financial Controller, with room to grow and clear guidance along the way. A core part of the role is to use digital tools, including AI, to make reporting more efficient and useful, both for Norvestor and for its portfolio companies.

About Norvestor

Norvestor is a leading Nordic private equity firm that invests in and develops companies across the region. Sustainability is integrated into how Norvestor builds value across its platform and portfolio, from data collection and reporting to long-term ownership decisions. The firm aligns its work with key frameworks and regulations including SFDR, EDCI, UNPRI and the EU Taxonomy, and is increasingly using digital tools and AI to make reporting more efficient and to reduce the reporting burden on portfolio companies.

Norvestor is now strengthening its sustainability function and is looking for an intern to support and develop its reporting processes alongside an experienced team.

Role and responsibilities

As Sustainability Intern, you play an important role in the day-to-day execution and development of Norvestor's sustainability reporting. You will not be expected to own all processes independently from day one, but you will contribute meaningfully across the full reporting cycle while learning how ESG data is used in practice. The role works close to the business and across both internal teams and portfolio companies.

  • Supporting the end-to-end process of collecting, validating, analysing and reporting sustainability data at Norvestor and across the portfolio

  • Maintaining and improving data models, templates and documentation

  • Coordinating timelines and follow-up with portfolio companies and internal stakeholders

  • Producing clear, consistent reporting outputs for internal and external use

  • Helping ensure reporting stays aligned with relevant regulations and market standards (SFDR, EDCI, UNPRI, EU Taxonomy)

  • Preparing material for auditors, advisors and other stakeholders together with the Sustainability Associate and Head of Sustainability

  • Exploring and testing AI tools with the sustainability and AI teams to automate recurring reporting steps and support data checks

  • Supporting portfolio companies with clearer data requirements, improved templates and hands-on help during data collection rounds

  • Coordinating sustainability-related audits and reviews, including gathering documentation and tracking findings

  • Helping respond to LP due diligence requests and questionnaires by gathering information and coordinating input across teams

  • Contributing to broader initiatives that strengthen Norvestor's approach to sustainable value creation

You report to the Sustainability Associate and the Head of Sustainability, and work from Norvestor's office in central Stockholm.
