This role is critical in ensuring the protection of people, assets, and infrastructure while maintaining adherence to industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.) and customer requirements.</p> <p>You will partner with engineering, operations, and EH&S teams to build scalable and audit-ready security frameworks for rapidly deployable modular data center solutions.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <p>Physical Security Strategy & Operations</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and manage site-level and fleet-wide physical security programs for modular data center environments.</li> <li>Oversee access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, perimeter security, and monitoring protocols.</li> <li>Define and enforce security zoning and layered defense strategies for modular and deployed sites.</li> <li>Conduct threat risk assessments (TRAs) and vulnerability analyses for both permanent and temporary deployments.</li> <li>Manage relationships with security vendors, integrators, and guard services.</li> </ul> <p>Compliance & Audit Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead compliance efforts for SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, TIA-942, and customer-driven security</li> <li>requirements.</li> <li>Maintain readiness for internal and external audits, ensuring documentation, controls, and evidence are audit-compliant.</li> <li>Develop and enforce policies, SOPs, and security standards aligned with industry frameworks.</li> <li>Partner with legal and risk teams to ensure compliance with federal, state (Texas), and local regulations.</li> </ul> <p>Modular Data Center Deployment Support</p> <ul> <li>Embed security requirements into design and manufacturing of modular data centers (factory & field).</li> <li>Ensure secure transport, staging, and commissioning processes for modules.</li> <li>Establish repeatable security standards for rapid deployment environments (edge, colocation, enterprise sites).</li> </ul> <p>Incident Response & Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead incident response procedures related to physical security breaches or compliance violations.</li> <li>Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li> <li>Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery alignment with physical security risks.</li> </ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Work with Data Center Operations, IT Security, Engineering, and EH&S on integrated risk management.</li> <li>Support customer-facing teams by addressing security questionnaires, RFPs, and audits.</li> <li>Provide training to staff on security awareness and compliance requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in physical security, compliance, or risk management, preferably within:</li> <ul> <li>Data centers</li> <li>Critical infrastructure</li> <li>Industrial or mission-critical environments</li> </ul> <li>Strong knowledge of:</li> <ul> <li>Access control & surveillance systems (Lenel, Genetec, etc.)</li> <li>Compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)</li> </ul> <li>Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance programs</li> <li>Proven ability to work in fast-paced, multi-site or deployment-heavy environments</li> <li>Strong vendor management and project management skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with modular data centers, edge deployments, or prefabricated infrastructure</li> <li>Certifications such as:</li> <ul> <li>CPP (Certified Protection Professional)</li> <li>PSP (Physical Security Professional)</li> <li>CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor</li> </ul> <li>Familiarity with data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942)</li> <li>Experience supporting hyperscalers, colocation providers, or critical infrastructure clients</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Risk assessment & mitigation</li> <li>Audit readiness and documentation rigor</li> <li>Operational scalability</li> <li>Crisis and incident leadership</li> <li>Stakeholder communication</li> <li>Attention to detail in regulated environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Attractive compensation package reflecting your expertise and experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>Medical Insurance Plan.</p> </li> <li> <p>401k Employee volunteer contribution Plan.</p> </li> <li> <p>A great work environment characterized by friendliness, international diversity, flexibility, and a hybrid-friendly approach.</p> </li> <li> <p>You´ll be part of a fast-growing scale-up with a mission to make a positive impact, offering an exciting career evolution.</p> </li> </ul> <p>Our job titles may span more than one job level.
