Lead Infrastructure & Networking (Houston, TX - Hybrid)
About Submer:
Submer designs and delivers end-to-end AI datacenter infrastructure built around industry-leading liquid cooling.
We help organizations scale AI beyond the limits of traditional datacenters by enabling higher density, greater efficiency and lower environmental impact – accelerating time-to-AI from first deployment to full production.
What impact you will have:
Submer is seeking an experienced and highly hands on Lead Infrastructure & Networking to lead the architecture, deployment, operational strategy, and scaling of networking and infrastructure platforms supporting next-generation AI, hyperscale, cloud, and modular data center environments.
This is not a traditional corporate IT role. We are looking for a technical leader and builder with deep expertise in high-performance infrastructure environments who is comfortable working directly with customers, engineering teams, deployment teams, and vendors to build scalable, resilient, and high-density infrastructure platforms.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across enterprise and hyperscale networking environments with deep expertise in technologies and platforms from companies such as Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Juniper Networks.
This individual will serve as a key technical leader in designing and scaling high-performance networking infrastructure supporting AI compute environments, liquid cooling deployments, modular data center platforms, and mission-critical infrastructure globally.
The successful candidate will combine technical leadership with hands-on engineering and operational engagement—someone equally comfortable in customer discussions, architecture reviews, troubleshooting sessions, and infrastructure deployment environments.
