We are seeking a Senior AI Data Center Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical power design, implementation, and optimization of high-performance computing (HPC) and AI data centers. This critical role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and efficient power infrastructure for next-generation GPU-accelerated systems at massive scale. You will drive projects involving large-scale (100-300 MW) HPC/AI facilities as well as modular data center deployments (1-2MW per MDC) that aggregate into 50-300 MW sites, with deep understanding of NVIDIA Grace Blackwell (GB300) and Vera Rubin (VR200) reference architectures.

What impact you will have

  • Design, specify, and optimize medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems for hyperscale and modular HPC/AI data centers, including switchboards, overhead busways, circuit breakers, transformers (including ML/VL types), PDUs, RPPs, grounding, and protection systems.
  • Lead power architecture for NVIDIA GB300 (Grace Blackwell) and VR200 (Vera Rubin) Superpod/reference deployments, addressing high-density rack power requirements (e.g., 120-160 kW+ per NVL72 rack), liquid cooling integration, power smoothing, and synchronous load management.
  • Develop and implement Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), UPS, generators, and backup power solutions to ensure 99.999% uptime and grid stability for AI/HPC workloads.
  • Architect modular data center solutions (1-2 MW containers/pods) that scale efficiently into larger 50-300 MW+ HPC/AI sites, focusing on rapid deployment, standardization, and interoperability.
  • Perform power system studies (short circuit, arc flash, coordination, load flow, harmonics, grounding) and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other relevant codes/standards.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and IT teams on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) integration, including 480V AC and 800V DC architectures, overhead busway distribution, and high-current delivery systems.
  • Create and be able to explain detailed single-line power flow diagrams, providing full specifications, justification for design decisions to both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and operations phases: review drawings, specifications, and submittals; troubleshoot issues; and optimize for efficiency, capacity planning, and cost.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies for power density, energy efficiency, and sustainability in AI factories.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of company standards and best practices for data center electrical infrastructure.

What you'll have

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. PE license preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering for mission-critical facilities, with at least 5 years focused on large-scale data centers.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying HPC/AI data centers at scale in the 100-300 MW range.
  • Hands-on experience with modular data centers (1-2 MW units) that aggregate into 50-300 MW sites.
  • Deep expertise in NVIDIA Grace Blackwell (GB300) and Vera Rubin (VR200) reference architectures, including power delivery, in-line BESS, transformers, switchgear, busways, power-smoothing, and related MEP requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of high-density power systems: MV/LV switchgear, overhead busways, circuit breakers, PDUs, BESS, UPS, generators, power smoothing, and harmonic mitigation.
  • Experience with power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, etc.) and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with liquid-cooled, high-power-density racks (100+ kW) and rack-scale systems like NVIDIA NVL72 / SuperPOD.
  • Familiarity with Grid-to-Rack power distribution, all MEP equipment in single-line power specification, 13.8kV/34.5kV to IT white spaces with 480V AC and/or 800V DC power distribution, BESS integration, and renewable/grid-tied systems.
  • Background in hyperscale operators, colocation providers, or AI infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942) and safety protocols (NFPA 70E, OSHA).

What we offer

  • Attractive compensation package reflecting your expertise and experience.
  • Medical Insurance Plan.
  • 401k Employee volunteer contribution Plan.
  • A great work environment characterized by friendliness, international diversity, flexibility, and a hybrid-friendly approach.
  • You´ll be part of a fast-growing scale-up with a mission to make a positive impact, offering an exciting career evolution.
