What impact you will have

The Data Center Bid Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the end-to-end bid ownership for data center design and built project proposal. This role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive bids by working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams.

What you’ll do

· Lead the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification through submission and contract award

· Clear understanding of data centre components like Civil, structural, power, cooling, MEP, IT infrastructure.

· Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and technical documents to determine scope, risks, and compliance requirements

· Develop bid strategies, win themes, and value propositions aligned with customer needs

· Coordinate inputs from engineering, design, construction, MEP, IT infrastructure, finance, and procurement teams

· Prepare and manage bid schedules, deliverables, and internal reviews

· Ensure accuracy and consistency of technical, commercial, and legal content

· Manage pricing models, cost estimates, and commercial assumptions in collaboration with finance

· Identify and mitigate bid risks and commercial exposures

· Support contract negotiations and post-bid clarifications

· Maintain bid documentation, lessons learned, and best practices

· Track bid success rates and continuously improve bid processes

What you’ll need

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field

· 12+ years of experience in bid management, proposal management, or commercial roles

· Proven experience with data centre projects (colocation, hyperscale, enterprise, or mission-critical facilities)

· Strong understanding of data centre systems (Civil, structural, power, cooling, MEP, IT infrastructure)

· Strong vendor base within India and outside India for Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, IBMS, Cooling etc.

· Experience managing complex, high-value bids

· Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills

· Strong organizational and deadline-driven mindset

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Experience leading small teams or mentoring junior engineers.

· The role requires customer engagement; the candidate shall have proven skill in customer management.

· The role requires clear understating of Indian tax structure for all items which required for successful bidding of data center projects.
