About Submer
At Submer, we are redefining data center cooling with innovative liquid immersion technology. We empower global teams to build sustainable, high-performance data centers. Our Taiwan team will drive the next generation of DLC projects.
What impact you will have
You’ll be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems to ensure high-performance thermal management, energy efficiency, and product reliability across next-generation hardware platforms.
What you’ll do
- Perform detailed CFD simulations, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics analyses for DLC systems and components.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and product teams to validate thermal and mechanical performance in prototypes and production builds.
- Translate simulation results into design recommendations, guiding material selection, geometry, and flow path improvements.
- Support system-level thermal optimization, including cold plate, manifold, and coolant loop integration.
- Design and conduct thermal validation tests, collect performance data, and iterate with design teams for optimization.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, analysis reports, and presentations for internal design reviews and external partners.
- Contribute to the development of thermal design guidelines and best practices for DLC architectures.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in thermal or fluid systems design, preferably in electronics cooling or data center applications.
- Hands-on expertise with CFD and thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, SolidWorks Flow Simulation, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of heat exchangers, coolant flow, and pressure drop trade-offs.
- Ability to interpret experimental data and correlate with simulation results.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; able to clearly present findings to cross-functional teams.
Our job titles may span more than one job level. The actual base pay is dependent on a number of factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
What we offer
- Attractive compensation package refleting your expertise and experience.
- A great work environment characterised by friendliness, international diversity, flexibility, and a hybrid-friendly approach.
- You´ll be part of a fast-growing scale-up with a mission to make a positive impact, offering an exciting career evolution.
