What impact you will have
The Content Strategy Manager at Submer is a key position responsible for leading, shaping
and executing our Content Strategy, driving brand awareness and development, thought
leadership and business growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in content marketing, digital
storytelling, project management and capable of leading content initiatives from concept to
completion. This role combines strategic thinking with creative writing, ensuring all content
is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand, maintaining consistency across all
channels and ensuring that content aligns with business goals.
What you’ll do
Content Strategy Development:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
- Content Planning: Develop a Content Plan and a Content Calendar that outlines topics, formats, and publishing schedules to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to understand market trends, audience needs, and competitor content strategies. Identify content gaps and opportunities.
- Content Guidelines: Maintain and update content style guides to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and language across all materials.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align content efforts with product launches, sales campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
Content Development & Optimization:
- Writing & Editing: Produce high-quality content across various formats: blogs, articles, Press Releases, eBooks, Whitepapers, Use Cases, brochure, decks etc.
- Content Updates: Regularly update content to ensure information is accurate, relevant, ensuring high standard of quality, always optimized for user experience
- SEO Optimization: Use SEO best practices to ensure content is discoverable and ranks well in search engines.
- Content for social media: Write and adapt content for social media platforms to promote blog posts, campaigns, events, and product updates.
Brand Awareness:
- Ensure consistent brand narrative and a clear messaging framework, collaborating in brand storytelling efforts.
- Collaborate with designers and video producers to create visually compelling brand assets (infographics, videos, animations, etc.).
- Manage PR and media relations efforts, ensuring brand representation in key publications and interviews.
- Execute brand campaigns that position the company as an industry leader.
Reporting:
- Content Performance Monitoring: Track website analytics to monitor how content performs and adjust strategies based on data insights.
- Conduct regular content audits, identifying opportunities for repurposing and refining underperforming content.
- Report findings and recommendations to leadership, influencing data-driven content strategies.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in content creation, content strategy, digital strategy, or a related role, preferrable in B2B or tech companies.
- Proven experience scaling content strategies for growth.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent project management skills, able to balance multiple priorities in a
fast-paced environment. - Deep expertise in SEO, content marketing, web traffic metrics and digital
storytelling. - Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or
similar. - Strong knowledge of CRM systems, with demonstrable experience in
Salesforce and Pardot. - Familiarity with AI-driven content tools and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 and Jira.
