What Impact You Will Have

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEP Project manager to join our data center design and operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of flagship projects within the datacenter sector and support a new generation of liquid cooled data center and AI factory operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal design, performance, reliability, and efficiency of our datacenter projects.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate consultancy experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Leading project management commissions from a MEP perspective, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery.
  • Ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
  • Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
  • Advising upon the procurement of resources
  • Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
  • Managing the change control process
  • Monitoring and advising upon project finances
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
  • Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (>5 years) as a Project Manager, specifically in data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and networking.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is essential, as this role involves reporting to an expat Project Director.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering results within tight deadlines.
  • PMP, CDCP and other relevant certification is a plus.
