What Impact You Will Have

As a Product Team Lead at Submer, you will spearhead a nimble and empowered technical team focused on crafting cutting-edge immersion cooling solutions for our strategic customers across the North America. Your role will be pivotal in driving the product development lifecycle from conception to deployment, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a small team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of immersion cooling technologies.
  • Utilize your product engineering skills to innovate and improve product offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with customer needs and company strategy.
  • Engage with customers to understand requirements and turn them into solutions that can be integrated into Submer products.
  • Assist in localizing Submer products for the U.S. market, identify local suppliers, and guide products through U.S. standard certifications (e.g., UL, and others as required).
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, including market analysis, roadmap development, and product launch.
  • Foster a culture of empowerment, innovation, and accountability within the team.
  • Act as the technical expert and advisor for both the team and strategic customers.

What You’ll Need

To perform in this job, you’ll likely have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in thermal management and cooling products.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a product development role within a technical environment.
  • Experience in designing products for US electrical standards, including UL certification.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering products on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization and customers.
