What Impact You Will Have

As a Logistics Specialist at SUBMER, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing comprehensive logistics processes to optimize the supply chain and ensure efficient operations.

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics activities, from procurement to distribution, with a focus on enhancing overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement strategic logistics plans aligned with the company's objectives, ensuring seamless integration with other business functions.
  • Analyze current logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with logistic suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Identify potential risks in the logistics process and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing logistics operations.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to coordinate and align logistics activities with overall business objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations with other key functions.

What You’ll Need

To perform in this job, you’ll likely have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics management with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Native English is required, and good working knowledge of Spanish is preferred (other languages are a plus).
  • Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
  • Knowledge of intermodal logistics flow, with focus on airfreight.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
