What Impact You Will Have

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Alliances Manager to join our team in Taiwan. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence by engaging with Ecosystem partners like server, silicon and fluid manufacturers and promoting the adoption of our immersion cooling solutions. You will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships with server, silicon and fluid manufacturers, our Ecosystem Partners. Your primary objective will be to work with these manufacturers and get them to incorporate Submer's immersion cooling capabilities into their product and GTM roadmaps, ensuring our technology becomes an integral part of the solutions they offer to their partners and end users.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeted towards server, component, silicon and fluid manufacturers in APAC.
  • Proven track record in technical business development within the IT hardware or data center industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of datacenter, server, networking and silicon market landscape in APAC.
  • Identify and prospect potential Ecosystem partners, establish contact, and build strong relationships to promote Submer's immersion cooling technology.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify key industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities in order to effectively position Submer's solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, R&D , marketing, and sales to develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of our Ecosystem Partners.
  • Present and articulate the unique value proposition of Submer's immersion cooling technology to key decision-makers within our Ecosystem Partners.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with Ecosystem partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management team on market trends, business development activities, and progress towards sales targets.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent Submer and promote our immersion cooling solutions.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in data center technologies, industry standards, and emerging trends to continually enhance knowledge and expertise in the field.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, business development and/or account management, preferably within the IT hardware or data center industry.
  • Strong knowledge of datacenter, server, networking and silicon market landscape in North America.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on and results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Taiwan region and occasionally internationally.
