About The Role And The Candidate

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, automating, deploying, and maintaining Submer IT infrastructure using DevsecOps best practices and the latest technology.

Responsabilities

You will be involved in two main areas:

Support The IT Team By Creating a Plan Of Improvement Of The Infrastructure Of Our Information System And Supervising Its Implementation

• Design plan of improvement, define conditions of efficient system with metric and monitoring solution associated to insure Submer’s infrastructure and system efficiency.
• Help define requirements to ensure security of access to our Information system, overseeing the company’s security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Design and manage the IT Systems Disaster recovery.
  
  

As part of the Software and Electrical automation team support:

• Responsible for defining, implementing, and keeping up to date our team build, deployment, and monitoring standards.
• In charge of designing optimum infrastructure for our product delivery and production environment
• Provision and maintain staging environment that make sense for the upmost efficiency of our SDLC
• Establish metric and action plan to support high availability, quality, and performance of our software systems.
• Deliver and maintain an end-to-end automation for deployment, monitoring of our infrastructure on-premises first environment and later cloud.
  
  

Candidate Specific Competences

To Perform In This Job, You’ll Likely Have

• Degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience
• +5 y of experience in DevOps
• Security certification a plus
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure engineer with expertise in M365 (Microsoft 365), Microsoft Azure, Microsoft MFA, Active Directory
• Expertise in Windows Server systems
• Excellent knowledge of networking technologies, particularly with OSI network layers and TCP/IP
• Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and Windows based environments.
• Experience with container networking on Docker.
• Master application deployment by using CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
• Experience with alerting tools like OpsGenie, PagerDuty, etc.
• Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and Windows based environments.
• Security first mindset.
• Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing strategies;
• Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, logging;
• Familiarity with common technological stacks;
• Fluent English and Spanish
