About SeaPattern
Enabling a world where the full potential of hydropower is unlocked!
At SeaPattern, we’re enabling the transition to renewable energy by unlocking the full potential of hydropower. Our modular, floating hydrokinetic turbines are placed in an optimized microgrid, increasing the energy output of existing hydropower plants without new infrastructure or environmental harm. The system is scalable, affordable, and non-invasive. Our technology also delivers sustainable power in remote areas and mission-critical energy solutions for disaster relief and defense.
Founded by scientists, engineers, and innovators, we’re now entering an exciting new phase, bringing our breakthrough technology to market. We are looking to expand our team with brilliant minds who want to develop our technology and join our mission. We are now looking for an Engineering Operations Associate.
What you'll get to do
As an Engineering Operations Associate at SeaPattern, you will support and coordinate technical and R&D projects from planning to execution. You will work within the engineering team to help ensure projects move forward efficiently and align with company goals.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their project management career who wants hands-on experience in a fast-moving deeptech environment and the chance to grow into a larger leadership role over time.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Support coordination and execution across engineering and R&D projects
Work closely with the Chief of Staff to help drive operational follow-up and project alignment
Track timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across ongoing technical initiatives
Prepare project updates, reports, presentations, and internal status material
Support planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and meeting follow-up
Help improve internal processes, project structures, and ways of working across the engineering organization
Assist with documentation, testing coordination, implementation, and deployment activities when needed
Help ensure priorities and action items are followed through in a structured and efficient way
We are looking for the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
Experience in project coordination, technical project management, engineering, operations, or similar fields
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a structured way
Interest in renewable energy, deeptech, or infrastructure projects
Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to learn
Experience with project management tools is a plus
Experience from startups, engineering environments, or technical teams is a plus
Why Join SeaPattern?
Real Impact
Your work directly increases renewable energy production in operating hydropower plants. Not in theory, in real facilities, with measurable results.
Build What Matters
You will work hands-on with deeptech systems combining hardware and advanced analytics, together with a tight team of engineers, scientists, and builders.
Grow Fast Through Ownership
You won’t be a small part of a large system. You will own real problems end-to-end from idea and design to testing and implementation and grow through doing.
How We Work
At SeaPattern, how we work matters just as much as what we build.
Focus creates momentum
We prioritize what matters most and move fast from idea to implementation.
Feedback makes us better
We challenge ideas, give direct feedback, and improve together.
Accountability builds trust
We take ownership, deliver on commitments, and communicate early.
Recruitment process
We’re reviewing applications continuously, so don’t wait to apply. This is a full-time position based at SeaPattern’s office in Linköping, Sweden. A valid EU and Swedish work permit is required

About SeaPattern
SeaPattern was founded in Sweden by a team of visionary scientists, innovators and engineers who shared a common vision - to unleash the power of hydropower.
We want to make hydropower more efficient, sustainable and accessible. Our modular, floating hydrokinetic turbines are placed in an optimized microgrid, increasing the energy output of existing hydropower plants without new infrastructure or environmental harm. Our solution is scalable, affordable, and non-invasive, and can also serve as a standalone run-of-the-river solution in areas where traditional hydropower isn’t viable.
This kind of energy is exactly the kind of energy solution the world needs - fast, scalable, and affordable. The future of clean energy won’t build itself. Let’s get to work together - join our mission!
