About the Role
Sand Technologies is building a unified health operating system for Africa. Many of our most important countries use French as the working language and have distinct cultural and operational contexts. We need a Product Manager who understands these realities and can bridge them with our product teams.
This role sits between our healthcare product squads and our francophone markets. You will spend time on the ground across West and Central Africa. You will learn how operators, health workers and ministries use our tools. You will translate those insights into clear product requirements. You will shape roadmaps with the product owners for partnerships, operations, intelligence and platform. You will help us build products that work for francophone Africa at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Understanding. Build a deep understanding of how our products are used across francophone countries. Conduct field visits with operators and ministries. Capture the practical and cultural details that influence adoption.
- Product Requirements. Translate country needs into clear requirements that can be used by product owners across partnerships, operations, intelligence and platform. Make sure these requirements speak to real user behaviour.
- Roadmap Contribution. Work with product owners to bring francophone market needs into the shared roadmaps. Help prioritise features that unlock adoption across multiple countries.
- Customer Engagement. Act as a trusted product counterpart for francophone ministries, partners and operators. Support discovery sessions, demos and feedback loops.

- Quality and Consistency. Ensure that product decisions stay aligned with our core architecture, design standards and long term direction. Promote reusability across countries.
