Build the agentic operating system for non-profit organizations

Most of the world's charities still run 5-6 different fundraising tools together with spreadsheets and CRMs from the 90s. We're changing that. samfora.org our not-for-profit donation platform has moved 7M+ SEK to 70+ Swedish NGOs in 6 months. samfora.io, our AI-native data-platform for nonprofit fundraisers, is live with 5 pilots. We currently have 20k donors in our customers databases, and 50 MSEK in past donations on our servers. We're hiring our next founding developer to help us go to 1B SEK. Every line of code you write helps a fundraiser save lifes.

TL;DR

  • Sweden's nonprofit sector raised ~10 BSEK in private donations last year and lost a quarter of every fundraiser's week to data janitor work. We're giving that time back. Every shipped feature equals hours reclaimed for cancer research, refugee work, climate.

  • 70+ NGOs already use our free fundraise software: samfora.org. 7M+ SEK donated through the platform in 7 months.

  • samfora.io (AI-native data-platform) is live with 5 pilots and extraordinary demand. From day one your code processes real donations for real causes.

  • Real fintech and AI problems: payment reconciliation, fuzzy donor matching across sources, GDPR-native workflows, the UI surfaces that make all of it usable for humans + a beautiful semantic layer to make it MCP/API accessible.

  • Stockholm, in person at Norrsken House. Founder-level equity (0.5-3%, set by experience and trajectory) plus competitive base. Infinite AI credits, state your APIs/CLIs/MCPs and we'll provide the tokens.

  • Backed by 12 angels, including Max Heger (GodEl/GodFond), Mikael Ahlström (Procuritas), Sam Jahanfar (Rule), Per Håkan Börjesson (Spiltan Invest), The Case for Her (Cristina Ljunberg + Wendy Anderson) and operators from Voyado, Salesforce and more.

  • Mission: build the data layer which turns every donation into a relation

What you'll build

You'll own the problems charities are facing end-to-end. Every line of code you write makes a fundraiser's life better, or it doesn't ship.

  • Donor Data Platforms and dashboards: the interfaces NGO fundraisers live in every day. Segmentation, donor cards, campaign flows, automations.

  • Payment and reconciliation engine: ingest and match transactions from banks, Stripe, Swish, and CSV imports. So that 100% of every donation reaches the cause and zero hours go to chasing missing transfers.

  • Data pipelines that can't fail: auditable systems for donation processing where mistakes mean we and charities lose money and/or trust.

  • AI-powered enrichment layer: match fuzzy donor data across sources, enrichment APIs (Apollo/Hunter) for better ground truth. So that fundraisers spend zero time on data entry/hygiene and 100% on relationship-building.

  • CRM backbone: events, triggers, automations for email and SMS campaigns, donor scoring and AI-powered analytics (churn prediction, donor lifetime value, etc) so that small NGOs get the same toolbox as the giants.

  • Integrations at scale: OAuth flows with Stripe, bank aggregation APIs (Open Banking AIS), Gmail/Outlook, enrichment services, MCPs - all GDPR-native.

Who you'll work with

A small, dense team where everyone ships:

  • Philip (CEO and co-founder): product, sales, cs, design

  • Tetiana: Senior full-stack, 8 years. Queen of architecture, CI/CD and reliability.

  • Richard: full-stack and AI/ML, 4 years. If you beat him in # PRs/month or token-spend, he'll buy you mac-mini with a pre-configured claw.

  • Karl (CTO and co-founder): Fractional code reviews, architecture, deep technical calls.

  • Advisories & consultants within UX, Front-end, Product, Charity-Success and more

Who you are

You believe nonprofits deserve world-class software purposly built for them (imagine Attio + Zero.inc having a vertical child). You're 1-4 years into your career and hungry. You want a small team, a product that saves lives, and the chance to grow into a senior engineer in 18 months instead of 5 years.

You're agentic in your engineering capabilities by default. You can clearly express your opinion about how you leverage and/or orchestrate agents on a day-to-day basis and always come with a creative and curious mindset to the table. You have built and are excited to demo and discuss agentic workflows and tooling.

You ship multiple meaningful things per week. You're still confident when showcasing a working version in front of users, because you know that there are no such thing as "perfect" since it kills velocity. You know the balance however: when donations are on the line, you don't make mistakes.

You're a vibe-coder who still reads every line of code. You move fast in CC/Codex, Conductor, etc, but you also know what's happening in the scripting-language layer, and the layer below that...

You're paranoid about data quality: you've seen what happens when bad matching pollutes migrations and you have the instinct for audit trails, flags, versioning, rollbacks.

Bonus points:

  • You believe generosity is the greatest of all deities

  • Shipped within payments, fintech, or financial data

  • Open-source contributions, hackathon wins, or side-projects

  • CRM, Marketing Automation

  • AWS

  • Event handling

How we work

  • Mission first: every shipped feature is measured in fundraiser hours reclaimed or improvement in funds raised.

  • Ship end-to-end: everyone owns problems, everyone is accountable for outcomes

  • Start manual, automate iteratively and fast

  • AI-native, no approvals: infinite tokens. Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Warp, all four if you want. State your toolbox and we'll provide the tokens.

  • Architecture as a real conversation: every other week we make a serious architectural call together. Job runner, vector store, ingest layer, multi-tenancy. You're a peer in those calls from day one.

  • Stack: Next, Postgres, Prisma, TypeScript, AWS, GH Actions

Why now

  • Impact: help thousands of charity workers stop being data janitors and start being the strategic, creative fundraisers they signed up to be.

  • Stakes: every shipped bug is a charity that loses trust. Every shipped feature is a fundraiser who goes home on time.

  • Timing: just closed our angel round, demand outpaces our ability to ship.

  • Learning: gnarly problems with real architectural latitude at the intersection of fintech, AI, and data privacy.

  • Ownership: your code processes real donations for real causes from day one.

  • Joy: we put insane pressure on ourselves to deliver. We also know the view from the mountain is worth it, and we're rushing there with joy.

Compensation

  • Equity: 0.5-3% founder-level (stock options) set by experience and trajectory.

  • Base: Competitive developer salary. Specific numbers discussed with finalists.

  • Location: Norrsken House, Stockholm. In person.

  • Vacation and wellness: 30 days paid vacation, generous yearly wellness allowance (friskvårdsbidrag).

What we're expecting in your first 90 days

  • Week 1: ship a real feature to a real pilot.

  • Day 30: own a vertical slice of the product, for example: payments, event-handling, enrichment, CRM backbone, integrations.

  • Day 90: a fundraiser at one of our NGO partners sends you an email saying "Thank you, this has truly improved the way I work."

Process

We move fast. Expect a yes or no within 10 days of the first call:

  1. Intro call (30 min, Philip)

  2. Technical interview/pair (90 min, Richard and/or Tetiana)

  3. Final founder chat (Philip and Karl)

  4. Half-day test-drive at Norrsken

Timing

  • Applications open: now.

  • Rolling review: we interview as applications come in.

  • Last day to apply: 31 May 2026.

  • Start date: juli-sep 2026, Stockholm.
