Position Summary

The Formula project consultant will provide direct support to Dr. Frieden in organizing, preparing for, and executing the promotional tour for his forthcoming book The Formula for Better Health: How to Save Millions of Lives—Including Your Own (MIT Press, September 30, 2025). The primary goals of this project are to promote understanding of and support for public health; improve the effectiveness of public health implementation; and support RTSL fundraising and organizational positioning.

The consultant will support the Office of the President (OTP) to ensure all components of the launch—planning of tour stops, individual speaking events, 1:1 meetings, and private gatherings, media visibility, internal coordination, and logistics—are executed to a high standard, while helping Dr. Frieden prioritize his time and maintain focus on strategic priorities.
