Role Overview
We're looking for a Finance and Operations Lead with a sharp eye for detail, a hands-on mindset and the drive to make things run better, to join our core team. You'll own the financial backbone of a company moving from pilot to industrial scale, and build the systems and processes that let a small team move fast. Working closely with the CEO and COO, you'll bring order to complexity and automation to run smarter operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in business, finance or operations who wants real ownership at a pivotal moment for a deep-tech company solving one of the most complex problems in the circular economy.
Your Mission
Finance & Reporting
Own financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow planning
Manage payments, invoices, banking routines and the audit process with external accountants
Oversee internal policies, compliance and grant reporting
Payroll, compensation and benefits management
Scaling & Fundraising
Support financial modelling and forecasting for pilot plant scale-up and future expansion
Assist in preparing materials for investor reporting and board updates
Track R&D & scale up project budgets and flag variances early
Operations & Systems
Partner with the CEO and COO to automate workflows and build smarter operations
Own and integrate our systems stack, applying AI wherever it removes friction
Manage contracts and external supplier relationships
Mindset
Champion a resourceful, solutions-driven approach across the back office
See manual work as a bug to fix and complexity as a problem to solve
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in finance, ideally with additional time in financial operations or a startup environment
Detail-oriented and analytical, with a knack for keeping complex workflows structured
Excited by AI and automation, and ready to use them to build leaner processes
Curious, take initiative, and love owning your domain end-to-end
Communicate fluently in Swedish and English
Degree in business administration, accounting or finance
Experience in project financing, debt financing solutions and scaling up hardware is a huge plus
