As a Design Lead at Quizrr you'll:
- Lead our (small) design team’s day-to-day work.
- Plan and conduct user research to uncover insights, behaviors, and needs.
- Conceptualize, evaluate, and map user flows and high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate the design solutions.
- Develop service blueprints, journey maps, and/or user personas as needed to guide design decisions.
- Take into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific platform demands to produce data informed solutions.
- Manage and contribute to our design library in Figma with high quality components that scale.
- Champion service design best practices and a user-centered design approach.
- Organize and facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with cross-functional teams to align services and design solutions with user needs and business objectives.
- Partner with Product, Tech, and other function leads to collectively set the mission, vision, and strategy.
- You’ll take full ownership of your work and total responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way, from whiteboard sketching to high-fidelity final treatments.
- Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, understanding when deeper exploration is warranted and when it is best to change paths and try another approach.
To be successful in this role, we believe skills you have are:
- At least 7 years of experience in a product organization as a Product Designer, UX Designer, Service Designer, or similar.
- Experience in designing customer-facing web and mobile applications, as well as communication mediums eg. email and are proficient in data-informed product design and development.
- Great facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills while being flexible and pragmatic about your designs.
- Experience in planning, executing, and reporting on user tests (qualitative and quantitative) to identify existing and emerging trends and user needs.
- User-focused design mentality and want to design and build products/features that truly have a significant impact.
- You are comfortable working in ambiguous spaces that are contextually complex. You regard constraints given by technical limitations, digital illiteracy, or similar, as exciting challenges.
- Proven experience of working with a complex service offering, leading projects within value streams.
- You have a online portfolio or PDF to showcase your work.
- Proficiency in English. You’re a clear communicator and compelling storyteller. Your written and verbal communication skills help you work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
Bonus skills
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- UX/Marketing copywriting skills in English.
- Experience with B2B SaaS.
