With students from across Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, California, and other states, Oklahoma Christian University in Edmund, Oklahoma, attracts people from all over to its faith-based educational community. Oklahoma Christian has nonetheless remained deliberately small so that both undergraduate and graduate students can have a strong sense of community. Whether pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an academic or professional field or getting a master’s degree in Ministry or Divinity, students have the benefit of small classes. Since Christian faith and teachings are the foundation of Oklahoma Christian’s educational programs and college life, students also have the opportunity of participating in more than 40 student ministry and service activities, including missionary work in countries throughout South America, Asia, Europe, and elsewhere. Additionally, Oklahoma Christian University has more than 50 student organizations for a range of interests. Eligible Oklahoma Christian students receive financial aid, which could include federal, institutional, state, and private sources of funding. For federal aid awards like loans and grants, students will need to fill out a FAFSA. Admission requirements include SAT or ACT scores, a personal reference, and high school transcripts.
