Housing Coordinator
Position Summary:
Oklahoma Christian University is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housing Coordinator to support the daily operations of Residence Life. This position is responsible for coordinating student housing assignments, managing housing records and software systems, assisting students with housing processes, and collaborating with campus departments to provide an exceptional residential experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate student housing assignments for the fall, spring, summer, and Christmas terms.
  • Manage housing applications, room selection, assignments, room changes, waiting lists, and off-campus housing requests.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students and parents regarding housing.
  • Maintain accurate housing records and student information using housing management systems.
  • Coordinate residence hall access with Residence Life and Information Technology staff.
  • Respond to Residence Life office communications, including phone calls and departmental email.
  • Collaborate with Financial Services and other campus departments to ensure accurate housing records and billing.
  • Provide administrative support to Resident Directors and assist with student communications and Residence Life processes.
  • Coordinate special housing accommodations, including study abroad participants, married and graduate students, and approved Emotional Support Animals.
  • Assist with student move-in, orientation, housing transitions, and other Residence Life events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Maintain Residence Life rosters, records, and website information.
  • Perf orm other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Some college coursework and/or relevant work experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Active member of a local church.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in higher education, residence life, housing, or administrative support.
