Built by educators, parents, and Emmy-winning creators, Nurture blends technology and creativity to deliver joyful learning that lasts.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Platform Lead with advanced TypeScript skills to join our core content creator team in Barcelona. This hybrid role combines in-office and remote work, supporting a fast-moving, global, English-speaking team. You’ll design and optimise backend systems, build APIs, and leverage AI coding agents to accelerate content production — directly shaping the platform that brings Nurture’s stories and learning to life.

• Architect and maintain scalable, secure backend infrastructure.
• Build and document APIs and integrations for seamless content delivery.
• Collaborate with creative and product teams to enable rapid content workflows.
• Use AI coding agents and MCP tools (e.g. Figma, Notion) to automate tasks.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, AWS) with modern DevOps practices.
• Champion testing, code quality, and innovation.

• 7+ years of backend/full-stack engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, plus frameworks such as Remix, Next.js, React Router v7, or TanStack.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven record of building scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Claude Code or Cursor.
• Clear English communication skills.
• Barcelona-based (hybrid role).

Bonus: Experience in education, gaming, or interactive content; Terraform; Tailwind CSS; developing AI assistants/agents.
