Job Description
As Maintenance engineer you will be a part of establishing maintenance routines and learn from equipment suppliers as well as the commissioning teams in order to become an expert within the factory. Your role will include the execution of preventative maintenance in collaboration with operators as well as being reactive to perform corrective maintenance when needed.
These roles are for you who always loved taking things apart, who isn’t afraid to work with your hands and to problem solve, always working towards the root cause and solving the problem.
Experience and/or interest of mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation or instrumentation is a merit.
Key responsibilities
Oversee production by monitoring Maintenance Technician activities and machine alarms,
implementing improvement projects to enhance machine design and spare parts robustness,
thereby reducing technical downtime.
• Support and drive CIPS initiatives, including QRQC, A3.
• Develop and document processes for maintenance activities within the designated area, ensuring
clear guidance and accountability.
• Lead efforts to maintain up-to-date machine documentation, including continuous updates,
creation of Work Instructions, and refinement of Troubleshooting Guidelines for Maintenance
activities.
• Maintain availability of critical spare parts in Clean and Dry rooms, with stock levels aligned to
consumption patterns.
• Track and analyse MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) for
assigned machinery, implementing actions to improve these KPIs.
• Train Maintenance Technicians on technical topics.
• Define preventive maintenance activities based on machine manuals and production insights,
coordinating with the Maintenance Planner to schedule activities as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and collaborate with HSE representatives to implement
countermeasures for a secure work environment.
• Participate in Planned Maintenance activities, reviewing results and initiating corrective actions
as required.
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimize maintenance costs related to spare parts and machine
improvements. Ensure machine spare parts are catalogued and that minimum stock levels are set
in the warehouse based on usage data.
