About the job
As the Fire and ATEX Specialist, you will report to the Senior HSE Manager in Västerås. This role is a specialist role with the opportunity to advance into lead role. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Fire Protection & Emergency Response:
    Leading systematic fire protection efforts, including LBE and LSO compliance. Developing and implementing effective emergency response strategies.
  • ATEX Compliance:
    Acting as Northvolt Västerås' go-to specialist for ATEX regulations, ensuring operational and strategic compliance. Staying informed on relevant external changes.
  • Legislation & Compliance:
    Ensuring our processes align with legal requirements and continuously improving practices within your scope.
  • Training & Development:
    Providing training for managers and employees on fire safety and ATEX regulations.
  • Technical Advisory & Inspections:
    Advising on technical fire protection installations and conducting inspections for new constructions and renovations. Handling insurance matters and enhancing loss prevention efforts.
