Job Description

We are looking for a excellent Workplace Coordinator to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Workplace team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing an awesome workplace and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.


As our new Workplace coordinator you would join a team of two, reporting to the Workplace manager. You play a key role in welcoming colleagues and visitors to our office, oversee that day-to-day business run smoothly, and have a positive mindset of problem solving. You be part of maintaining and improve a healthy and safe office environment and support on special assigned projects. You often collaborate with other support functions and vendors to connect the dots and make things happen!

To be successful as an excellent Workplace coordinator we believe that you have at least a few years of experience from the service and administrative area and an ability to provide high-level support to the Northvolt team and all our visitors.

Not only will you work close with wonderful entrepreneurs and a great team, you will also be a part of Northvolt’s mission to a greener future.

Work is performed in our office, typically from 7-16 or 8-17, and needs to be planned or discussed with the team; occasional flexibility is required depending on events.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Front desk management: Reception and guest service
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment
  • Welcome guests and visitors to the office and assist them as needed
  • Scheduling meeting and appointments
  • Support meetings and conferencing needs such as refreshments and IT support
  • Manage phone calls, correspondence, postage and taxi
  • Maintain office equipment and report errors
  • Assist in the onboarding of new employees
  • Coordinate, plan and execute projects and events as assigned
  • Support and coordinate internal communication
  • Monitor office and food supplies, inventory and place orders
