Job Description
Joining the production planning team as an Order Management Intern offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring efficient and accurate order processing. This position provides valuable experience in inventory management, logistics coordination, and customer service, enhancing your professional skills. Additionally, the role offers a collaborative work environment and the chance to contribute directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor order processing to ensure timely shipment and delivery
- Track orders through the system and maintain up-to-date order information
- Learn how to communicate with internal customers regarding order status and provide updates as necessary and respond to internal customer inquiries regarding order issues, cancellations, or returns
- Learn how to manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for fulfilling orders and collaborate with the logistics team to manage shipping and delivery schedules
- Learn how to monitor and report on key performance metrics related to order processing and fulfilment
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless order processing and fulfilment
- Learn how to analyze customer feedback
- Assist in other administrative tasks as needed
- Learn how to resolve any issues related to order exceptions, such as payment declines or invalid shipping addresses
- Collaborate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing
- Perform other tasks assigned by Manager
