Factory Support Specialist – NOVO Energy IT Gothenburg

NOVO Energy is a Northvolt Volvo Cars joint venture formed in order to power the next generation of pure electric Volvo cars. We are building a state-of-the-art facility for research and development of the next generation of battery cells, and we need your help in making it happen!

What we offer

We are looking for a Factory Support Specialist who will be responsible for handling and routing IT, Digitalization and Automation incidents for operations at NOVO Energy. This role is focused on (but not limited to) helpdesk style operation that will directly impact production and the supporting functions.

The person joining us in this role will play a crucial role and be actively involved in documenting and analyzing issues, improving workflows, and supporting the central IT and Digitalization team. As we are in a scale up phase you have a unique opportunity to shape out digital landscape and significantly contribute the future success for NOVO Energy. Key responsibilities

  • Pick up, document and route incident tickets connected to IT & Digitalization using our incident management system (JIRA)
  • Handle bug reports
  • Handle root cause analyses of closed incidents
  • Work with central IT & Digitalization team to improve and develop way of work
  • Solve and close incidents
  • Support the IT & Digitalization team at NOVO Energy
  • Document and create databases with lessons learned and troubleshooting information
  • Take part in the on-call rotation for out of hours support

In addition, we believe you meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in a help or service desk role
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or manufacturing IT organizations
  • Experience participating in IT projects for manufacturing
  • Familiarity with systems like ERP, MES, and PLM
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral skills
