Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify market-specific materials and products regulatory requirements and updates for product market access of current and new battery system product portfolio, including aftermarket. For example REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, POP, and WEEE.
  • Support on compliance with EU Battery Regulation.
  • Update engineering teams about requirements and consult business development and engineering teams in a cross-functional manner during all development phases regarding materials and product regulations.
  • Define the roadmap for product compliance by supporting engineering teams in identifying relevant L0 material regulation requirements.
  • Support Supply Chain with the interaction with suppliers, regarding material compliance and regulatory obligations.
  • Act as a contact person for technical experts within and outside the organization related to material compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement within material compliance processes by regularly evaluating and enhancing protocols, implementing best practices, and fostering innovation to maintain regulatory adherence and efficiency.
  • Review and adhere to internal processes meeting ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements.
