Job Description

The world needs clean batteries and we need a plan for what to do with them end-of life. We need to recover the materials and use them in new batteries or other products – and not produce waste. Hydrovolt is determined to grow the business into the European market and has a clear ambition to be a leading player in battery recycling.

We are looking for a Quality & Improvement Manager who will lead the way in our pursuit of continous improvements in operations, both in productivity and product quality and identify and execute necessary improvement measures. The Quality & Improvement Manager will also be responsible for our Laboratory and the Hydrovolt Quality System.

As Quality & Improvement Manager, your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Improvement Management - Seek and Identify needs for improvement; lead, follow up and execute necessary measures
  • Analyzing, tracking and ensuring Product Quality
  • Ensure Product Quality Spesifications from customers are being met
  • Quality System Management - Ensuring regulatory Compliance and ISO certification in relevant areas
  • Process owner and overall responsible for Quality Assurance
  • Managing the Laboratory and Laboratory Personnel

Skills & Requirements

As Quality & Improvement Manager, we believe that you have:

  • Master’s degree in technical or chemical field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Management, Improvement Management, ISO Compliance or other relevant field
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean Production, Six Sigma or similar productivity improvement systems
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in Norwegian and English
