Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

As a Network Engineer you will get the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most advanced machine IoT networks in the field of industrial networking, as well as state of the art enterprise networking, datacenter & cloud networking. You will be part of the local Network team reporting to the local Site manager.

Your main responsibilities will be to work with our daily operations of the network and extensions of factory networks such as datacenters, public clouds, and office networks.

In this role you will collaborate with your peers both locally at site and with colleagues in the global network team to ensure that the network is reliable and stable supporting our factories 24/7.

Continuous improvement of the network infrastructure is also an important part of your daily challenges.

On call work outside office hours will be part of your role.

Other responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Support project implementation from requirements gathering/reviewing designs, to building and deploying our networking infrastructure.
  • Plan and support management of the network and its services.
  • Coordinate vendors involved in implementing, and supporting our networks.
