The HRBP will report directly to the VP People based in Heide/Hamburg. And you’ll be a part of a passionate, skilled and diverse company.

You have several years of experience from building a stellar employee life cycle over time and should have demonstrated a successful track record of organizational and people leadership.

Among your key areas of responsibilities:

  • Support the business in all aspects of HR on both the strategic and operational levels
  • Build HR processes from scratch

  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Training and Performance
  • Build and maintain excellent and effective employee relations, as well as union-management relations
  • Managerial support, HR advising and coaching
  • HCM System implementation experience

With a high-quality mindset and approach, you will be dedicated to building an excellent and functional organization starting from the early start of the company, playing a key role in supporting and coaching our managers and employees in all HR-related questions. With your passion and can-do attitude, you will take the lead in establishing, developing and maintaining Northvolt's HR processes and policies locally. You will ensure that processes, systems and work routines are as optimized as possible and aligned with business needs and strategy.

Thanks to your genuine passion for building and growing great companies, you will support counselling our employees and leaders by planning, monitoring and supporting our team members in achieving their career goals within the organization.

As part of your umbrella of responsibilities, you will, together with our managers, ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource law requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, representing the organization at hearings, and handling the relation with the unions and the alike.

As a person, you are passionate, highly organized and result-driven. You are strongly goal-oriented, curious and eager to learn. You like to be proactive and deliver beyond expectations. You share our can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit! Qualities that we cherish are flexibility, a sense of quality, friendliness, motivation to take on new challenges, grit and a sense of humour

We thrive from promoting diversity in our workforce in order to ensure that Northvolt's culture welcomes a diverse workforce.
