Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Project Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. We have multiple sites to be launched in the coming years and we need you to help us in overseeing the implementation, deployment & commissioning of our MES solution for our new Gigafactory, Northvolt Drei, in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany.

About the job

We have invested significant effort in developing one of the most sophisticated manufacturing execution systems (MES) for battery manufacturing - completely in-house.

We aim to deploy and customize this system for each new factory and manufacturing setup on Northvolt's roadmap. We are now looking for driven technical project manager who will be responsible for overseeing design, engineering, deployment, testing and validation phases of our MES system for our new factory in Heide, Germany.

You will be part of a project team which is responsible to deliver our digitalization offering to our manufacturing site - Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the deployment of MES, or digitalization initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and operations, to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Project planning, risk management, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Foster effective communication among team members and stakeholders to facilitate project progress and address potential issues.
