Job Description

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for material engineers to join our stellar/bold/passionate team in Västerås.

You will work for developing Binder and Conductive materials for EV batteries. The development of Binder and Conductive materials requires passionate action and a creative approach. You should have experience in designing materials and be familiar with evaluating lithium-ion batteries. The works will be carried out with the consultation of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing Binder & Conductive for Li ion batteries
• Align Binder & Conductive properties to cell properties
• Designing new test protocols and procedures for Binder properties
• Evaluating and investigating new Binder & Conductive for Li ion batteries
• Collaboration with academia and industrial partners
