We are looking for a dedicated and driven Senior Director of Industrialization
to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is part of our cell operations management team based in Västerås, with a significant amount of traveling to our giga factories. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing large-scale battery factories and successfully launching customer projects.

About the job:

The Senior Director of Industrialization holds an important leadership position within our cell operations management team. This role is central to guiding the industrialization team in successfully launching customer projects from conceptual design to fully operational manufacturing processes in our factories. You will lead strategic decisions concerning capacity allocations and act as a key point of contact among all relevant management stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between teams.

About the team:
The diverse and highly motivated team of industrialization project managers is based out of different locations in Northvolt. They are closely working with the main operational functions to ensure successful industrialization of our products from project initiation to closing.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure a successful industrialization of our products from project initiation to closing

• Lead the Industrialization Team and ensure continuous improvement in our industrialization processes.

• Cultivate a multicultural environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Oversee a diverse and international team of Industrialization Project Managers, Workpackage Leaders, and other team members ensuring successful industrialization of our products from project initiation to closing.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of industrialization initiatives

• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment and integration of industrialization strategies across the organization.

• Engage in high-level management discussions both internally and with customers, representing the industrialization team.

• Develop and execute industrialization strategies in line with the company’s long-term goals

• Make strategic decisions regarding capacity allocations to meet project goals and organizational objectives.
