Factory layout coordinator

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Factory Layout coordinator to join our passionate team in Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå. The Factory Layout coordinator will support the layout engineers in developing and delivering operationally excellent factory designs created with an emphasis on cross-functional compatibility and technical modularity.

This starting position has the potential of a developing into a permanent position after finalization of the studies. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create, develop, update, and maintain factory, production and process designs in 3D and 2D CAD environments.
• Modify and manage supplier vendor files to be incorporated in our factory layouts
• Prepare presentation and decision material for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the factory layout team with multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Document- and model management and control linked to factory layout deliveries.

We are looking for a junior part time candidate with interest and experience of working in 2D and 3D CAD environments. It is a bonus, but not a must, if you have experience in construction design, production design or product design.

This is a role for you who have excellent organizational skills, good holistic view and a lot of grit. You will be exposed and involved in multiple simultaneous projects and will act as “the spider in the web”.

This role will offer you a good view and understanding of Northvolt as a company, where you will be exposed to multiple internal stakeholders and different departments. This role contains a lot of freedom and can be developed depending on the personal strengths of the candidate and is a good first step into the company.

This is an output-based hybrid position, that combines both remote work and on site activities at Northvolt Ett, Skellefteå. It allows you to manage your time and working hours.
