We are looking for an experienced Electrical System Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Electrical Maintenance team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing the team and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job
This job includes working on maintaining and developing the PCMS/PQMS automation systems including the IT network. IT network is for the equipment network and building network. The job requires deep understanding and hands-on experience of maintaining very complex equipment into higher electrical system layers forming some of the most advanced control systems in the world. The production environment has very high demands on cleanness, up-time to reach the set quality level, production efficiency and traceability. It will require a combination of proven technologies and the design of new innovative solutions, and you will identify and interact with key solution suppliers. This role can include on-call duty and travels can occur. In this position you will be part of the team that will give our maintenance- and operations team the tools to run the most advanced and efficient production factory in the world.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the PCMS/PQMS system in the factory.
  • Commissioning of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot as part of the maintenance procedure.
  • Work together with the Industrialization team to test and verify upgrades and test applications.
  • Review design engineering design documentation (Requirement specifications, Functional design, Logic diagrams, Test Cases, Test Records)
  • Participate in and contribute towards design forums and improvement meetings for technical improvement and optimization of hardware and software processes. Includes new sites and buildings.
