The opportunity ahead
Our ambition is to become the new global standard in air purification. We are redefining how the world cleans its air by cutting waste, reducing CO₂ emissions, and protecting public health.
Having successfully proven our technology in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sector across the Nordics and Northern Europe, with clients like McDonald’s, we are now rapidly expanding. Our aim over the next 36 months is to scale across HVAC, Industrial, and transportation verticals, offering a massive opportunity to build a category-defining global player.
Product portfolio
CLER’s technology uses advanced perpetual separation systems to remove airborne particles without the need for traditional, high-maintenance filters:
CLER PRO Series: Our flagship high-capacity units designed for heavy-duty environments (kitchens/industry).
CLER Compact (Upcoming): A modular, lightweight version designed for integrated kitchen hoods and smaller commercial spaces.
Industrial & HVAC (Upcoming): Large-scale systems (10,000 m³/h+) for data centers, hospitals, and large-scale ventilation in commercial buildings.
The role
Our founder, Tommy Myrvang, is transitioning to a dedicated technical and product role to focus on his passion for R&D and product building. We are seeking a CEO to lead CLER through its next growth phase, navigating the transition from a high-growth startup to a structured, global commercial scale-up.
With a core team already in place and proven market traction with global giants, the foundation is solid. Your mission is to take this momentum and lead our journey to becoming a category-defining global player, expanding our footprint across international markets and new industry verticals. As CEO, you will lead the company with full accountability for execution and performance, partnering closely with Tommy and the Board to realize CLER’s full potential.
Core responsibilities:
Set strategy and own P&L: Define the plan, priorities, and targets. Own results, including unit economics and gross margin improvement.
Lead and scale the organization: Build the leadership team, hire key roles, and create a high-performance culture.
Drive global growth: Lead commercial direction (segments, pricing, partnerships) and secure key enterprise customers
Own manufacturing & supply chain strategy: Build the operating model (make/buy, suppliers/partners), and ensure cost, quality, capacity, and resilience to scale internationally.
Scale delivery and service: Ensure a robust installation, service, and quality model that can scale internationally.
Fundraise and manage governance: Lead the Series A and maintain strong Board/investor communication and reporting.
Build the ecosystem: Establish strategic partnerships across OEMs, installers, and the broader value chain.
Candidate profile
Essential experience:
A proven track record of scaling an organization from an early-stage team into a structured, high-performing international company
Hands-on experience building, mentoring, and leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
Proven ability to manage the operational complexity of scaling a physical product, from supply chain and manufacturing to international installation networks
Preferred experience:
Experience in hardware-centric companies or complex B2B / B2B2B sales environments where ROI-led value selling is key
Success in fundraising and working with institutional venture capital and boards
Previous experience specifically navigating the transition from a small team to a large-scale, professionalized organization

Success in 12-18 months looks like:
Series A funding: Successfully leading a significant capital raise to fuel global expansion.
QSR at scale across Europe: You’ve landed flagship chains and scaled from pilot to rollout across multiple markets, our solution is becoming the default choice in Europe.
Organizational maturity: A fully recruited and high-performing management team in place.
Vertical expansion: Successful entry into the HVAC and Industrial markets with validated pilots.
